Whenever you invent something you are never quite sure how it will be received. Not by your friends of course, they are all very complimentary but by people who will not hold back if they think your idea is rubbish!
Soo it was trepidation that the reins and I headed off to the British Horse Society’s International Conference at Myerscough College in Lancashire. The guinea pigs were using three devices. The invert, a pair of googles that showed you what the rider was looking at (we could see what on the large screen) and Revelation Reins. I found the whole day fascinating but in particular this part of course! It prompted some good discussions and at lunchtime I invited people to come and try the reins and give me feedback. I was overwhelmed with the response and suggestions for uses which included riding schools, RDA but in particular how people perceived how they could help with their own riding and importantly the people they coach.
